This place is really good. My family and I are alternative eaters and they have plenty of options for us.
I had potato tacos, beans, and rice. I have to admit that most Mexican restaurants slack off when it comes to the beans and rice, but not this place. The beans were really creamy and flavorful and the rice was nice and moist. And the don't use lard!!! The potato tacos were bomb. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well too. The tacos were crispy with enough toppings to create a nice little post-taco salad. My daughter had the "gigantic" shrimp burrito and "gigantic" is an understatement. She could only eat less than a 1/4 of it.
Chips were on point and they have lots of salsa options. The menu is extensive, it looks like there's something for everyone. There's plenty of parking in the little shopping center where this restaurant is located. I'm definitely going back very soon. -

I love coming here and I love that's so close to my house, but my goodness does their portion sizes really put me to sleep after I'm done eating here. I'm so happy and full and 40 minutes later I'm out like a light.
The food here is really good. I've tried other Mexican restaurants in San Luis Obispo and was never too impressed. Something would always be missing. Here, nothing is missing. I've been here three times now and each time has been just as good as the time before.
The prices are definitely higher than other mexican restaurants in the area, but for the quantity and quality that they provide you with it's actually a reasonable rate. Be careful with ordering items that are "supreme" it always feels like a next level version of what it actually is. Case in point: their supreme quesadilla was so big that it was just 3 massive quesadilla wedges and I was so full by the one and a half that I had some leftover the next day for lunch.
Their chips and salsa are an extra fee so keep that in mind. They have a salsa bar area and it ranges from mild to HOT! which is no joke. It's very hot and flavorful. The chips are always kept fresh which is nice.
Their horchata is by far and way one of their best items on the menu. They do have a 12" burrito and if you and a friend both want burritos, consider ordering the foot long burrito and cutting it in half. It's a few dollars cheaper and it's just as delicious.
Today I tried their nachos supreme for the first time. I thought it was good, not outstanding like their carnitas burrito or quesadilla, but good. The carnitas was cooked really well, but a bit bland and there wasn't a good balance of other flavors with the nachos.
Would I come back? Definitely, but l'm going to need a good break in between my visits. It's a lot of food. -

The staff was courteous, patient and happy to help. The restaurant and bathrooms were kept clean. The line moved fast so stopping here for a quick lunch was convenient.
The food was just okay for me though. I ordered a taco salad, my friend got a wet burrito and we each ordered cheese enchiladas for our daughters. The enchiladas sauce was decent and I was unsure about it at first because of the color. The chicken taco salad was very bland. All the layers just melded together and none of it had anything flavorful stand out. The rice and beans were just okay. I was excited for the chips and salsa I had ordered because I thought they were hot, fresh chips, but they tasted stale and weren't warm.
I may give this place another try for a quick lunch when I'm in the area, but I won't be recommending it unless the food flavor improves. -

Family and I ordered some food from here and thought it was okay. We ordered the taco salad, bean burrito, and a carne asada burrito. The taco salad was nothing to write home about. The carne asada burrito was bland. It had too much rice and not a lot of other ingredients. The large amount of rice made it come across as dry.
The service staff were nice. The lady on the phone was patient with our special order for our finicky son. He's going to be one of those (I would everything on the side).
